South Sudanese rapper John Frog is set to perform live at Crystal Lounge (8th floor, rooftop of KABC building) this Saturday, June 15.
Known for his viral collaboration with Rwanda’s Bruce Melodie on ‘Konjo Remix’, John Frog will be joined by DJ Virus. The event starts at 9 pm and goes on till late, with parking available for attendees.
Genocide Memorial Boxing Tournament 2024
Kigali Universe is hosting a Kwibuka 30 Genocide Memorial Boxing Tournament. This competition honours the memory of boxing professionals and enthusiasts who were killed in the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Matches are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, June 15-16, with tickets priced at Rwf5,000 for regular seats and Rwf10,000 for VIP seats.
Meaningful Conversations
One key to success is learning from those who have made it or are on the same path. Join the ‘Meaningful Conversations’ event this Saturday, June 15, where the topic will be ‘Cultivating Success: Harnessing Mentorship and Development for Career Growth’. The Rwanda Open Pickleball
This tournament takes place on Saturday, June 15, at Silent Home Pickleball Club.
Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Spectators can attend for free and are encouraged to arrive early to witness the action of this open tournament.
The tournament, now in its second round, is still accepting competitors, with games beginning at 5 pm.
Prenatal Yoga
Expectant mothers looking for a safe environment to practice yoga can head to Kigali Wellness Hub this Saturday, June 15, from 9:30 to 10:30 pm.

Ihuriro ni mu Mahoro
Residents are invited to witness the first game at the newly completed Amahoro Stadium this Saturday, June 15.
A friendly match between football giants APR FC and Rayon Sports FC will showcase the stadium’s transformation into a 45,000+ seater arena.
Admission fee: Rwf1,000 (General), Rwf10,000 (VIP). Doors open at noon, with kick-off at 5 pm.
The Tribute African Rhythm
Umurage Itorero dance troupe takes the spotlight at the tribute African rhythm show at Mundi Center, Rwandex this Saturday, June 15, from 8 pm till late.
