Kanogo-Rugunga-Kiyovu and Rugunga Rwampala roads are closed for traffic for the next one week, Rwanda National Police (RNP) have announced.

The development, according to RNP follows the planned culvert works at Kanogo junction.

The works started May 14 and are expected to go through May 21, reads part of the announcement posted on the RNP Twitter page.

Alternatively, the public has been advised to use other routes, in order to facilitate the construction process, and that police officers are also expected to be on the ground to facilitate traffic flow.

Additionally, Rwanda National Police called upon the public to collaborate amidst these sudden changes.
