The Touch: Celebrating beauty

Isn’t it great to be a woman? To drown in the attention and admiration of our male counterparts? To bless the world with a beauty so blissful? Because that is what we are. We are beautiful inside and out and as we celebrate the women’s day we celebrate our beauty that makes us who we are. No matter what age or size we are, most women continually ask themselves, what will I do to feel more beautiful?

Today is a day to celebrate the woman in us.

Attractive or not this is a question we all struggle with.  We are haunted by self esteem demons that keep reminding us of our faults.

This is a struggle that weighs us down to a point of self hate. We must unite as we fight this great battle of self worth in order to discover beauty deeper than our skin. We all have this magnificent beauty within us, one that no make-up can hinder or bring out.

Different looks, from casual to chic, make life sizzle but it is still more important to me to be happy than to be pretty. We may not take credit for our faces or body-types, that is all God given. But we can choose to be proud of what we have and to take care of it.

Eat well, stay healthy and make the best of what we have been blessed with. What makes a great looking woman, a great beauty, and a great person is what they share from the inside out.

This comes from inner self acceptance, inner peace and freedom. Accessories, clothes, shoes are important but they do not define who we are. We are more than the clothes we wear. Outer beauty is a reflection of what is inside.

If you want the world to see a beautiful person in you, then start by appreciating yourself more. Learn to love and celebrate you. Don’t seek for approval outside yourself. You are more than you see because you are not just a woman, you are a beautiful woman.

Today, as we honour this great day we must make a choice to break free from the ties of beauty conformity and to embrace the beauty that never fades.

To tap the strength within and to face life with the personal belief and determination. It is wonderful to be women, so let all celebrate today and for always.
