Beware of perfect guys!!!!!!!!!

Everyone has a picture of a spouse one wants to have; could be God fearing, nice looking, caring, having a stable job, learned and many other attributes. But it’s quite unheard of to find someone who fits in an all round description of a perfect person/spouse/lover.

Everyone has a picture of a spouse one wants to have; could be God fearing, nice looking, caring, having a stable job, learned and many other attributes. But it’s quite unheard of to find someone who fits in an all round description of a perfect person/spouse/lover.

One day as I was walking along the city streets, I found a nice looking guy. His eyes were fixed on me with a lot of passion and love in them. Young ladies love being approached first even when they are head over heels and are dying to make the move. He didn’t do that and I felt like a loser.

The following week, I found him in a fellowship cell, where we had time to chat a little. Oh my God, everything in me was pounding for him, ‘I love you too’ he whispered. Like any other lady, I didn’t want to show that I had taken the first step.

"Who told you I love you?” I screamed out loud pretending to be so angry yet so accepting and so proud. With in no time, we started moving out and it was all splendid. It was just a dream come true.

He was loaded, a bit older than me, born again, learned, loved me so passionately. He used to call me every second and did everything every lady would crave for in her relationship.

He could take me to a new place every weekend, pray together in the mornings, drop me to work and pick me in the evenings…just  imagine every good thing that couldn’t let you give up a man for no reason.

It felt too good to be true and unfortunately didn’t go beyond three months. The second month registered a completely different scenario. No calls for a week, no more prayers together, weekend parties were cancelled.

Can you imagine there was even nothing special for valentines?  That hurt a lot and it was the apex of all the trouble. I looked up so much to it; I had already calculated our day together, with nothing to interfere, showered with many gifts, swimming in a lot of love and much more.

Everything died out in no time. Matters were worsened when I saw one of his pictures with a girl in his wallet. I talked to him and he told me he doesn’t take pictures with other girls, apart from me, his love.

I was so hurt and opted to get out of the relationship instead of living a lie. Enough of the dreadful experience, how can we tell from perfect guys to "perfect guys”, their characteristics can seem to resemble but the task is yours to find out and not to be blinded by faked love.

"Perfect guys” can always be affiliated to some distinctiveness:

* They are always there when you need them.
* They come in the umbrella of your circles (they always know what you stand for, and that’s the picture they will build around them selves).
* They know what to say or do when, how and why.
* They never make mistakes, even if they made one, they can repent quickly or they will keep it away from you, never to know.
* They will always support you, financially, emotionally, physically or even academically (they seem to have it all and know it all).
* They never talk much about them selves; they always want to hear more about you.
* Their love seems too much, so out of this world.

Hope these traits are not confused with the real ideal men. But it’s just so rare to find one who is so perfect and yet keeps up the love and care for you up to the end.

Why not to be aware of them? Unless you want to be exploited, try them out!!!!! Any way, "perfect guys” are never perfect because they just pretend to be. It’s better to have a ‘normal’ person than being with a mask-wearer.
