Gorilla FC appoints Kirasa as new head coach

Rwandan topflight side Gorilla FC have appointed experienced tactician Alain Kirasa as their new head coach.
Kirasa, who previously handled Gasogi United, penned a one-year deal on Tuesday, June 11, replacing Belgian gaffer Ivan Minnaert who left the club at the end of the 2023/24 season after and his former employers were unable to reach terms on contract extension.

Having also coached AS Kigali, Kiyovu Sports and Police FC, on top of serving as an assistant coach of Amavubi and Rayon Sports, Kirasa brings a wealth of experience to new club Gorilla FC.
Gorilla finished 10th in the 2023/24 Primus National League with 35 points after 30 games.
