That’s the message from the SundayMag team. Every year on March 8, the International Women’s Day (IWD) is celebrated. Hundreds of events occur not just on this day but throughout March to mark the economic, political and social achievements of women.

According to the IWD website, this year’s theme is Women and men united to end violence against women and girls. Last year’s theme was Investing in Women and Girls. We should not just have a theme but be active participants in its implementation.
