On Sunday, 9, June 2024, the 19th edition of the Kigali Peace Marathon went down in Kigali with Rwandan athletes Emmanuel Mutabazi and Emeline Imanizabayo going home with bronze medals in the men and women’s half marathon respectively.

Nine out of the twelve medals awarded at the 2024 Kigali International Peace Marathon (KIPM) went to Kenyan runners, who once again dominated the podium.
