PFC Zvyahel will be playing in the Ukrainian second tier League during the 2024/25 season after the club beat Khust City in the play offs.

PFC Zvyahel secured a ticket to the Ukrainian First League for the first time since the club’s foundation 29 years ago after defeating Khust City 1-0 in the return leg on Saturday night to win 2-1 on aggregate.

Ishimwe, 23, was released by English Premier League side Arsenal in June 2023 before joining Zvyahel in March 2024. He made eight league appearances this season and found the back of the net twice.

Touted as a huge prospect during his time at Arsenal, injuries took the better part of his stay, hence struggling to reach his full potential.

Ishimwe was born to Rwandan parents in Kigali but moved to Norway at the age of 4. He is yet to be capped by either of the nations at any level.
