I would like to extend my congratulations to the Muslim community for having successfully completed the holy month of Ramadhan.

Muslims have had a full month to beseech God, thanking Him for the gift of life and the challenges they have gone through.

I know it has not been easy for most of them to please God but they have persevered, gone through the challenges and finally come to that day. All the messages that they heard during prayers in the holy month were preparing them for this big day.

During Ramadhan, people are usually well-behaved and more involved in prayers, a sign of showing seriousness and commitment to God.

I plead to them to continue portraying that spirit to people in the community and let the society learn from what Muslims do in respect to God.
