The Artistry and Lyrical Gems: Season 1

If you’re a fan of indie talent, mark your calendars for this Friday, June 7. This inaugural season promises a lineup of cypher, poetry, and theatre performances, featuring indie acts such as Digaly, Chr1s, D.R.A.P.E.S, El Mood, and many others.

Join in at Ikawa Rooftop Cafe for a night of creativity and talent. Admission is Rwf5,000.

East West Fashion Pop-Up

Fashion enthusiasts won’t want to miss the ongoing fashion pop-up at Moshions (43 KN 16 Ave). Featuring innovative brands from East and West Africa, the pop-up offers a unique shopping experience with collections from Kente Gentlemen, Lafalaise Dionn, and more. Hurry, as the pop-up closes on Saturday, June 8.

19th Kigali International Peace Marathon 2024

The 19th Kigali International Peace Marathon 2024 is set for Sunday, June 9, marking the first edition since earning the Global Elite Label Status in February.

Registration details vary: Rwandan residents can sign up for the Run for Peace (10km) at no cost, while the half and full marathons are available for Rwf 5,000.

Residents of East African Community (EAC) member countries, including Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, DRC, and South Sudan, can register for $10 or €9 (Rwf 12,950), while foreign athletes can join the half and full marathons for $30 or €27 (Rwf 38,850).

Additionally, foreign and EAC residents residing in Rwanda can participate in the Run for Peace for Rwf 5,000.

European Street Fair

Don’t miss out on the excitement at the European Street Fair this Saturday, June 8, at Imbuga City Walk - City Centre from 6 pm to 11 pm.

Hosted by the European Union delegation in Rwanda, this event promises live music performances by local talents such as Chriss Eazy, Kevin Kade, Ariel Wayz, Bwiza, and Symphony Band, along with DJ sets by Infinity and MC Uncle Austin. Admission is free, so come join the celebration!

Virunga Silver Pro Max Show

Get ready for the Silver Pro Max Show featuring Amapiano artistes Pcee and Justin99 from South Africa.

This event, their second performance in Kigali, will take place at Mundi Center, Rwandex, on Saturday, June 8. Joining them are other talented performers including Logan Joe, Kevin Klein, DJ Sonia, Smooth Kriminal, and more.

Tickets are available at the door for Rwf15,000, with VIP access priced at Rwf25,000.

Rwanda Basketball League

Don’t miss the Rwanda Basketball League showdown this Friday, June 7, at Lycée de Kigali gymnasium. Watch as APR takes on Inspired Generation starting at 6 pm sharp.

Universe Boxing Championship

The Universe Boxing Championship, held at the newly inaugurated $1.5 million facility atop the CHIC building rooftop on the outskirts of the Central Business District (CBD), will feature two light heavyweight contenders, Vincent Nsengiyumva and Kassa Hans, battling it out this Saturday, June 8.

Entry fees are Rwf5,000 and Rwf10,000, with doors opening at 8 pm.
