Friday Gasogi Vs Espoir 3pm
GASOGI United are plotting a revenge on their Rwanda Premier League rivals Espoir when the two sides go head-to-head at Kigali Stadium on Friday. Kick-off 3pm.
Skipper Guy Kazindu is optimistic that Gasogi will produce an improved performance against the Rusizi-based outfit as they have the benefit of playing at home, in front of their own fans.
The topflight league newcomers fell to a 3-2 defeat in the reverse fixture last November.
"We owe it to our fans, the three points must remain home,” Kazindu told this publication in an interview on Thursday. "We have gained a great deal of experience in topflight football now, we were still new in the league when we lost the first game.”
Victory for Gasogi will move them into 7th position – from tenth – with 28 points, while struggling Espoir would remain in 13th with 16 points, a solitary point off above the relegation zone.
Gasogi go into the match hot off a stunning 1-0 win over SC Kiyovu on Tuesday.
