After a successful inaugural edition last year, ArtRwanda-Ubuhanzi talent search is back.
The competition is organised by the Ministry of Youth and Culture in partnership with Imbuto Foundation, and other stakeholders that champion youth empowerment.
Launched in August 2018 the project seeks to identify young artistic talents across the country in a wide spectrum of art disciplines, and offers them the requisite skills and tools to not only hone their talent but also become creative entrepreneurs.
Bigger and better
The competition is open to people aged between 18 and 35 years. There are six main categories, namely: plastic arts, dance and music, theatre and drama, cinematography and photography, as well as literature.
