Today, we are going to focus on morals and how it is linked to our rights as children. By definition, morals are our behaviour. These can either be good or bad.

When children have good morals, there is order and discipline in whatever they do. As children, you have a right to practise good morals.

Children with good morals, respect and help elders and each other, greet people on the way and socialise with friends. However, you should keep in mind that some people can take advantage of your good morals and violate your rights.

Some people pretend to be good people yet they are not. If you come across adults who want to involve you in bad habits, as children you should watch out and keep away from them.

Such people are children haters, they do not like you and so they want to spoil your life and future. These are people who do not respect you as a child.

You should always be able to say no to people who want to involve you in bad manners be it your friends or strangers. If they do not stop, just report them to your parents, teachers or the police.

Remember you have the right to refuse to do anything that will corrupt your morals.
