Editor,
There is no doubt that churches in Rwanda hold much of our society’s morals.

Some Churches however, actually lack the very morals they claim to be representing.

I therefore concur with Minister Charles Murigande, when he argues for churches to ‘live’ an exemplary life.

We do not need to bring back bad old memories on their role in the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, but we only reflect on it to forge a better future.

It is in short high time these institutions helped all believers and non-believers to live peacefully.
