Fidele Nyirimana, the head coach of UTB volleyball club, has urged his players to be ruthless when they take on APR in the national volleyball league on Saturday.
The game will get underway at 5pm, at Amahoro Indoor Stadium.
The University of Tourism, Technology and Business Studies (UTB) are in fourth position with 6 points, while former champions APR are second with 9 points.
Nyirimana said, "APR have proved to be a dangerous team this season, so we can’t take anything for granted on Saturday (today). We will give it our best for the important win.”
He further challenged his players to ‘aim for a sweeping three-setter victory’ against Elie Mutabazi’s side who stunned two-time champions Gisagara last month.
In a separate interview, Mutabazi urged his youthful side that "We should maintain the same aggressive approach against UTB. We know UTB have odds on their side but we are ready for challenge.”
Elsewhere on Saturday, IPRC-East host Kirehe in Ngoma District while unbeaten leaders REG will be up against Gisagara at Amahoro Indoor Stadium.
