I read about the United Nations plan of building a complex in Rwanda, where all its programmes will be headquartered, with pride.

This was announced by Aurélien Agbénonci the UN resident coordinator in Rwanda after his courtesy call on President Kagame.

The UN doesn’t just decide to make such a substantial investment without first making a feasibility study; and I bet that one of the biggest studies the UN made was the stability of the country.

For any investment made, especially one that concerns multi-million dollar construction, the stability of the area is of utmost importance.

So, when the UN, with its extensive checks, decides that Rwanda is a good place to make an investment, you better prick up your ears.

Especially when you are an investor looking for a home for your investment. The UN’s stamp of approval shows just how far the nation has travelled since the dark days of 1994.
