It was a Christmas to remember for merrymakers in Kigali as they witnessed amazing performances from renowned worship group, Healing Worship team, alongside other Rwandan famous worship groups and independent artistes.
Revelers started flocking the venue as early as 3pm in order to get a clear view of what was about to happen. Even with the heavy downpour in Kigali a couple of hours later, the show went on.
Urugero vocalists entertained the crowd that got bigger as time went by and at about a quarter past five, one of Rwanda’s biggest Christian bands, Gisubizo Ministries, hit the stage and excited the audience.
The roughly 20-minute performance was followed by Prosper Nkomezi. The crowd could not hide their excitement as they sang along before he thanked them for turning up to support him.
Healing Worship team was soon announced amid loud cheers as almost half of the crowd stood up and shouted messages of support and love towards them.
Dressed in black and white, the group performed for the crowd for close to two hours and would pause a bit to tell part of their story, as well as the miracles God has done throughout the year – which left some of their fans emotional.
Their electrifying dance moves and energy left the crowd in awe.
Rumenge Etienne, the team’s legal representative, thanked the crowd for showing love and mentioned how impressed and grateful they were for the support.
The show ended at around 9pm amidst the heavy downpour.
