Beach volleyball: Rwanda to participate in Olympic qualifiers

The local volleyball governing body (FRVB) has confirmed that Rwanda will take part in the upcoming qualifiers tournaments for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

The men’s tournament is due January 3-7 in Eritrea, while the women’s qualifiers will be held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania from January 9 to 13.

Speaking to this publication on Wednesday, FRVB Executive Secretary Christian Hatumimana said that more details – including training schedule for the teams – were yet to be determined.

The 32nd edition of the Olympic Games is scheduled for July 24 through August 9, 2020 in Tokyo, Japan.
