Libyan President Col. Muamar Gadaffi.

Following the overwhelming election of Libyan President Col. Muamar Gadaffi as the next African Union (AU) President, many people have raised different opinions on his dream of one African gvt. Is it the "in thing” for leaders now to hope for a peaceful world without the wars in Congo, Darfur, Somalia, and Gaza?

Recently elected President Balack Obama`s vision is also to bring change to the world, save it from the current economic crisis and in his Berlin speech he showed his support for the suggested new world order and this would really work for both Africa and America or the entire world.

Hoping to burnish his standing, President Gadaffi recently had a group of traditional leaders name him the "king of kings” of Africa, and brought an entourage of seven local monarchs dripping in gold jewellery with him to the summit.

However, many African heads of state are loathe relinquishing any of their sovereignty, and during closed-door talks on one of the days, they again postponed his dream of closer union.
Will Obama`s mission of new world order or Gadaffi`s united State of Africa really work? Imagine the likes of President Mugabe, giving up their seats to one common leader.

Mikhail Gorbachev, the former president of  Russia, was the first leader to declare publicly his thoughts in making the world a better place introducing a new world order and the term has been used by numerous politicians through the ages, with the intentions of  bringing people from all nations together under one government, one monetary unit and one religion.

Suppose the deal works?

As Africans, we all come from different cultures where elders led the communities, they set the rules, and the kind of punishment deserved if broken.  We have different cultures and different religions that we follow and not about to break.

Now in this noble venture of trying to leave in peace and harmony, there will be no middle class, only rulers and the servants.

All laws will be uniform under a legal system of world courts practicing the same unified code of laws, backed up by a One World Government police force and a One World unified military, to enforce laws in all former countries where no national boundaries shall exist.

The system will be based on a welfare state; those who are obedient and subservient to the One World Government will be rewarded with the means to live. Privately owned firearms or weapons of any kind I believe will be prohibited.”?  Now that is the peace we are all talking about.

I am proud of our African leaders who in many minds turned down, the Libyan’s president proposal. Call me cynical but really, who wants to lose the beautiful gorgeous 5000 Rwandan Franc note to some one currency that we are supposed to support. Don’t you all think this will make us suffer from identity crisis?

The United States in the Moon will be created before Muamar Gadaffi, can create the United States of Africa. It is one of his fantasies that the world has known since he came to power! That was when again?
