PHOTOS: RDF participates in multinational military drills in Türkiye

The May 20-30 exercise took place in Izmir, Türkiye. Exercise EFES-2024 is one of the largest combined, joint exercises of the Turkish Armed Forces.

A Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) delegation led by the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Gen Mubarakh Muganga, participated in EFES-2024, a Turkish-led biannual, multinational, Combined Joint Live Firing Exercise.

The May 20-30 exercise took place in Izmir, Türkiye, according to a post by RDF on X.

Exercise EFES-2024 is one of the largest combined, joint exercises of the Turkish Armed Forces.

Reports indicate that activities on the last day of the exercise, which is held at the Doğanbey Firing Range in Seferihisar, Izmir, and which is expected to be watched by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, are followed by the defense ministers and chiefs of staff of friendly and allied countries, as well as the Turkish Armed Forces command, accompanied by Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler and Chief of General Staff General Metin Gürak.
