Dear editor,

I’ve read and heard about the death of 11 Burundian peacekeepers in the Somali, with great astonishment. The Somalis should have been grateful to Burundi and Uganda soldiers, who volunteered to join African peacekeepers, for the help they are rendering them.

It doesn’t make sense to kill peacekeepers; and I am afraid it may scare away other volunteers, leaving the war-torn country in an isolated hell.
