One of the greatest problems we are facing is accessing firewood and charcoal to use for domestic purposes. We do not actually have enough forests from where we can get firewood and charcoal.

The few forests we have are fully exploited, which is why the government put a restriction on their cutting. I see the only alternative remaining as biogas technology. However, my worry is that we cannot get the biogas technology to work at the moment.

Biogas technology should be seen as a long-term solution to the energy needs of the rural inhabitants. Maybe, we should be looking at short-term solutions at the moment.
