Rwanda Energy Group (REG) and The Hoops Rwanda clinched titles of the inaugural Agaciro Basketball Tournament Friday night at Kigali Arena.

REG lifted the title in men's category after beating local rivals Patriots 61-50 in the final, while The Hoops claimed the women's title after overpowering 66-52.

The winners, each, pocketed Rwf2 million, while beaten finalists received Rwf500,000.

The tournament is organised by Rwanda Basketball Federation in partnership with Agaciro Development Fund, the country’s sovereign wealth fund.
