Saturday APR Vs Musanze
APR head coach Adil Mohammed Erradi has challenged his players not to lose focus in their pursuit for the club’s 18th league title after beating Sunrise in a six-goal thriller on Tuesday.
The army side host Musanze at Kigali Stadium on Saturday, looking to maintain the top spot and their unbeaten run this term.
After ten match rounds, the black-and-white outfit lead the Rwanda Premier League table with 24 points, at par with second-placed Police who overcame Musanze 1-0 on Wednesday, thanks to a first-half lone strike from Antoine Dominique Ndayishimiye.
It was the seventh goal of the season for the former AS Muhanga and Gicumbi forward.
"We are doing well and I hope we will even do better in the coming days. We have to continue working hard,” Moroccan tactician Erradi said.
In Tuesday’s 4-2 win, APR came from behind to pick all the points away to Sunrise, with Djuma Nizeyimana, Dany Usengimana, Christophe Bukuru and Innocent Nshuti all stamping their names on the score-sheet, while Nigeria-born striker Samson Babua netted twice for Sunrise.
Erradi says that his side are yet to play their best football, predicting that their best days lie ahead.
"We started the season well, but, we are yet to produce our best game. I am optimistic my players will continue to improve as the season progresses, we have not yet hit our top form.” "We cannot afford to take our foot off the gas.”
