"My main mission is to promote good social life and wellbeing of people through the promotion of balanced diet to get rid of stunting, especially in children, because there is still a gap that needs special focus.”

Mukasine stated that advocacy will commence from the accomplishments already attained, nationally, paving the way for continued promotion of quality feeding.
"As a farmer I decided to prioritize balanced diets because it's essential to start serving people with balanced diet from the time they are pregnant, ensuring the long-term promotion of children’s wellbeing."
Mukasine who is also in charge of justice at the women's council at district level, said that farming is intricately linked to promoting balanced diets and overall wellbeing.
"My farming practices align with promoting balanced diets because what we grow directly contributes to people's wellbeing. Whether it's carbohydrates, proteins, or vegetables, everyone requires these essentials for a healthy life and to foster sustainable development," she said.
She added: "Submitting my candidacy today signifies my confidence and unwavering determination, attributes that contribute to every aspect of my endeavours.
"While I remain committed to contributing to the sustainable development of our country in various capacities, I've chosen to pursue a parliamentary role because it is through parliament that I can advocate and reach a broader audience."
