Rwanda Primus National League side Police FC has shown exit door to five players as club looks to build a fresh squad ready to pose a challenge during the 2024/25 the CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

The law enforcers had an abysmal second round in the 2023/24 season winning just two games despite spending big and they are now bent on getting things right in the coming season.

Times Sport can confirm that five players namely Moses Nyamurangwa, Eric Rutanga, Moro Sumaila, Hesbon Rutonesha, and Bosco Kayitaba are not part of Vincent Mashami’s plans for the coming season and are set to part ways with the club following their below par performance during the just-concluded season.

High profile names who could still leave the club include skipper Dominique Savio Nshuti who has been with the team for four years as well as Muhadjiri Hakizimana who could once again move to the Arabian gulf countries.

The club is poised to spend much in the forthcoming transfer market as they hope to sign quality players with CAF competition experience to help them to at least get to the group stages of the 2024/25 CAF Confederations Cup.
