Police will be looking for a crucial victory away to Etincelles when the two sides square off at Umuganda Stadium on Sunday afternoon, starting at 3pm.

The law enforcers go into the match seeking to stay in close contention for the top spot with APR after the latter edged Espoir 3-1 on Friday.

APR now top the table with 21 points, three ahead of Police who have played one game less.

Speaking to Sunday Sport on Saturday, Police coach Francis Haringingo said: "To me every game is life or death. We are taking Etincelles game seriously. We have to win it.”

In other matches, Gicumbi face Rayon Sports at Kigali Stadium, while Bugesera host Mukura at Bugesera Stadium.

On Saturday, AS Kigali were again dealt a blow as they played out a goalless draw against SC Kiyovu whereas AS Muhanga beat Marines 1-0 with Adolphe Hakundukize netting the solo strike.

After nine match rounds, tactician Eric Nshimiyimana and his AS Kigali have only managed one victory – the club’s worst league start in their history.
