Today 24th to March 1st, Rwanda will host the Africa Zone-5 Basketball Championship Competition at Amahoro indoor stadium. Different teams, from Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Sudan, Burundi, Somalia and Rwanda are present.

The Rwandan national team displays the best example of team work. All the best Rwandan basketball players from all over the world have come together in unity to play for their country.

In the women’s team there is Mireille Karangwa from Portugal, Dominique Mwiza and Jamie Isaro from the USA.

On the men’s team, there is Mathieu Miller and Robert Thomson from Romania, Hamza Ruhezamihigo from Canada and Wilfred Nyandwi from the USA.
