Musanze FC beat Gorilla FC, 2-0, in a Rwanda Premier League week five game at the Kigali Stadium on Wednesday, October 12.

It took the visitors just six minutes to open the scoring through a superb goal from Luke Namanda. The early goal unsettled Gorilla as Musanze had the upper hand to press for more.

Ben Ocen and Peter Agblevor who led the Musanze attack caused incessant problems and goalkeeper Matumele Mozombo had to be at his best to stop them.

The second goal for Musanze came in the 24th minute through Victor Omondi who also had a great afternoon.

The second half saw Gorilla reduced to 10 men in the 68th minute following a red card to Emmanuel Uwimana.

Elsewhere, Espoir and Rutsiro settled for a goalless draw in Rusizi.
