National volleyball side University of Tourism Technology and Business Studies (UTB) have unveiled their squad ahead of the 2020 season which is scheduled to start on November 9.

Last season, UTB volleyball finished in third place in the league behind Rwanda Energy Group and Gisagara.

Head coach Fidele Nyirimana has vowed to lead UTB to their first league title in their fourth season in the top flight  division.

"We have finished signing new players and the team is looking forward to the next season,” said Nyirimana

He added "We want to be ready for the new season, we are preparing for it as a team. The focus is to do better than last season, which means challenging for the league title,”

Last week, UTB signed Rwanda volleyball senior national team right attacker, Nelson Murangwa on a three-year deal. Other new players include: Centre blockers Fred Musoni and Emile Karera Dada.

UTB Squad  :

Setters: Yvan Mahoro, Jean Paul Sibomana and Emmanuel Mugisha

Centres John Nkurunziza, Placide Madison Sibomana, William Mudahemuka, Fred Musoni and Benvenue Rukundo.

Right-attackers: Samuel Niyogisubizo, Mandela Nzirimo and Nelson Murangwa.

Left-attackers: Oliver Ntagengwa, Fred Muvunyi, Aimable Mutuyimana and Sime mbappe Juilliard.

Liberos: Karera Emile Dada, Jules Niyigena and Alon Irakoze.
