APR women basketball will be looking to reach the final of the FIBA Africa Zone V Club Championships for the very first time when they face Kenyan side KPA on Friday.

Kick-off 5pm CAT, at the National Indoor Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Charles Mbazumutima’s APR reached the last four after finishing second in Group B, which also comprised Tanzania’s Don Bosco, Kenya’s Equity Bank. Burundian champions La Gazelle were a no-show after pulling out at last minute. 

On the other hand, KPA advanced to knockouts as Group A leaders after winning all their Group A games. 

This year’s edition of the regional tournament started on October 21 and will be coming to a climax on Saturday.
