Lesotho head coach Leslie Notsi has included right backs Neris Kopano Tseka and Thabang Malane in his 23-man squad for the 2026 World Africa qualifiers against Group C rivals Zimbabwe and Rwanda on June 7 and June 11 respectively.
Tseka, 33, and Malane, 26, has not played for the ‘Crocodiles’ since June 17, 2023 when they lost 1-0 to Comoros in a 2023 AFCON qualifier.
Notsi's squad is dominated by local players with Bokang Sello of Police FC in Botswana, Jiangxi Lushan striker Thabiso Brown, South Africa-based Fusi Matlabe of Mpheni Home Defenders, Alfred Mosoueu of Mangaung United FC, Tlotiso Phatsisi of Black Leopards, Tumelo Shai of Kaizer Chiefs, Sera Motebang of Royal AM and Katleho Makateng of Richards Bay as the only foreign players.

Lesotho have had a fair start to the 2026 World Cup qualifiers with 2 points two Group C games after recording a 1-1 draw with Nigeria at the Gods’ will Akpabio Stadium in Oyo before holding Benin to a goalless draw at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
