Kepler 3-0 Police (Kepler win series 2-0)

APR 3-1 REG (APR win series 2-0)

Kepler and APR reached the finals of the 2024 national volleyball league after sweeping Police and REG respectively in the best-of-three semifinals playoffs.

APR booked their ticket to the finals after winning two games in a row against REG including Saturday’s 3-0 game 2 win to take the series.

Meanwhile, Fidele Nyirimana’s Kepler saw off Police after Saturday’s 3-0 (25-23, 25-23, 30-28) victory saw Kepler side go through to the final on their debut season in topflight volleyball.

APR, however, stand in Kepler’s way as the army side also wants to finish the season with a silverware after an impressive form in the regular season and the playoffs.

In the women category, APR and Police qualified for the finals after eliminating Ruhango women and Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) women respectively in the semifinal playoffs.

APR women booked the ticket to the final after easing past beating Ruhango in three straight sets 3-0 (25-08, 25-14, 25-19) in Game 2 to win the semifinal series with 2-0. Police women joined the army side to the final after edging RRA 3-0 (26-24, 25-17, 25-23) in Saturday’s Game 2 to make it 2-0.

The finals will be played in a "best-of-three series format” with Game 1 scheduled on May 24 at Ecole Belge Gymnasium.
