Rwanda Energy Group (REG) will be looking to deny Patriots a 2-0 lead when the two local giants lock horns Friday night in Game 2 in the men’s basketball playoffs finals.

Kick-off 9pm, at Amahoro Indoor Stadium.

The defending champions beat REG 67-58 in Game 1.

In an interview with this publication on Thursday, REG skipper Ali Kazingufu Kubwimana said, "Losing Game 1 did not discourage us, rather we learned from the defeat and motivated us to work harder.

We look forward to putting up on a stronger fight.”

REG are on the hunt for a second league title, after their historic first in 2017, while Patriots are challenging for a second successive championship – and their third in four years.
