The way I see events unfold in the war ravaged region and more precisely the DR Congo, there are hopes that sanity is going to be restored.

I again take this opportunity to welcome all former DFLR rebels, to join other Rwandans in the efforts to build their country.

Rwanda needs all its children to forge a way forward in development.

War has only worked against our development as a country, and we must not give it any more chance.

So all of you in the jungles of DRC, come back to your country, for we need you, not as enemies, but fellow country people.
