President William Ruto arrived in Kigali, on Friday, May 17, for the annual summit of the Africa CEO Forum where he had several engagements, including a high-level meeting with investors.
The 2024 Africa CEO forum bringing more than 2,000 delegates including Heads of State, leaders of international institutions, captains of industry, and investors, got underway in Kigali, on May 16, when President Paul Kagame issued a rallying call to African business and political leaders to work closely, together, noting that the more the continent is united, the more productive its engagement with partners will become.

Besides the Heads of State and Government, the list of business gurus attending this year’s Africa CEO Forum was impressive. Chief executives of some of the continent’s most powerful and influential companies attended the event.
Among others, the participants took time to take stock of what Africa needs so as to secure its place among the "powerful" of the future.
