Rwanda vs Ethiopia 2:30PM (Kigali Time)

The head coach of the U20 national handball team, Francois Ngarambe, has vowed to fight for glory at the finals of the 2024 Zone 5 men's competition in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The showpiece is attracting various other regional countries including Kenya, Burundi, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Tanzania.

On Friday, May 17, Rwanda will be up against Ethiopia at 2:30PM in the final game of the tournament.

"I want to make a huge statement at the tournament and the only way to make such a statement is by winning the trophy. I know for sure that we have what it takes to bring the trophy home,” he said.

He noted that one of the advantages that his team has is the fact that the players have good chemistry, having played alongside each other on many occasions.

The winners of the competition will earn qualification to the 2024 International Handball Federation (IHF) continental trophy.
