A group of 24 children are undergoing training to improve on their musical skills. This is in preparation for a tour to the USA and Canada in the middle of this year.

The tour is organised by the Africa Mission Alliance incorporated (AMA). The children who are aged nine and ten years, were selected from the districts of Kamonyi and Huye in the Southern Province.

According to the AMA Director, John Mulisa, the tour is aimed at developing the musical talent among Rwanda children. This he said will also display and market Rwanda’s rich culture as a tourist and investment destination.

Mulisa also stressed that the tour will help raise funds for Rwandan schools and housing for orphans and widows.

Around 1,000 are expected to benefit from this tour.
