The National U-15 football team also known as the junior wasps will take on South Sudan in their opening match at the Cecafa U15 boys Challenge Cup in Eritrea from August 16 to September 1 2019.

Rwanda has been placed in Group B alongside Ethiopia, Uganda and South Sudan.

Bonnie Mugabe, the head of Competitions at Rwanda football federation said a new head coach and technical staff will be named today who will in turn choose players from those who competed in the inaugural 2019 FERWAFA Youth Competitions.

The selected team will start preparations next week.
