Joselyne Umulisa says that the sponsorship package she got from Premier Bet has been crucial in her chase for title defence in the ongoing Cogebank Tennis Tournament.

Umulisa stormed in the last four on Thursday after overpowering Olive Tuyisenge 6-1 6-0 at Cercle Sportif de Kigali.

In a post-match interview, Umulisa told Times Sport that, "The sponsorship from Premier Bet helped me to focus and prepare well for the competition. I want to maintain this ‘ruthless’ performance up until I retain my title.”

She further noted: "Partners such as Premier Bet is what our tennis lack to develop. Hopefully other corporates will pick up in future competitions.”

By press time Thursday, Umulisa was yet to know who she would meet in semi-finals on Friday.

The week-long tournament, which started on Monday, will be coming to a climax with the finals on Saturday.
