Tonny Kamugisha, the Service Distribution Manager at Irembo, said by recognising the pivotal role of education in fostering digital literacy, they will internally empower students and teachers to champion this cause.
He said this will help students apply for national IDs as soon as they are eligible, thus nurturing a digitally empowered generation.
"We mark one year with joy as the self-application rate has risen from 25% to 38%, driven by our vision to empower every Rwandan citizen through Byikorere. We aim to cultivate their ability to autonomously benefit from the campaign and engage with IremboGov services, thus advancing their proficiency in digital literacy,” he said.
