Bugesera striker Elijah Ani has refused to speak on his future despite increasing interest from Rayon Sports.
The Nigerian import finished the 2023/24 Primus National League campaign as the joint top scorer, alongside countryman Victor Mbaoma, with 15 goals apiece and his services attracted the attention of Rwanda top clubs with Rayon Sports leading race to sign him.
While champions APR FC Chairman Col. Richard Karasira dismissed any possible talks with Ani, Rayon Sports, Police and AS Kigali are all reportedly interested to sign him before the 2024/25 season begins.
Times Sport has established that Rayon Sports have already contacted Ani’s agent about a potential move but the forward remains tightlipped on his next step of his career considering that he still has one year remaining on his contract with Bugesera FC.

"Rayon spoke to my Agent but nothing is official yet as I’m still a Bugesera FC player. Every decision will be made now that the season is over," Ani told Times Sport.
"I still have one more year on my contract with Bugesera FC so they have the big say if any offer meets their demand."
The forward previously played for clubs including home sides Enugu Rangers, Warri Wolves, Mighty Jets and Lobi Stars.
