Gasogi United closed in on a spot to semi-finals of the second division playoffs after seeing off Intare 4-1 during the two sides’ quarter-finals first leg at Mumena Stadium over the weekend.

Marcel Lomami’s youthful side hold a healthy advantage going into the decisive clash on July 13, same venue.

However, speaking to Times Sport on Sunday, tactician Lomami urged his players against complacency, noting that; "The tie is not decided yet. We need to stay grounded until we reach our ultimate goal – to earn promotion to topflight league.”

After finishing the group stage as Pool A leaders with 55 points, from 22 matches, Gasogi are keen on reaching the playoffs final, which would secure them a spot to the 2019/2020 Azam Rwanda Premier League.
