French football legend David Sergio Trezeguet has become the latest name on the list of legends set to participate in the inaugural Veterans Club World Championship (VCWC) in Kigali in September.

Trezeguet joins a host of high-profile former players like Brazilian Ronaldinho Gaucho, former AC Milan player-turned politician George Weah who confirmed their attendance at the highly anticipated event scheduled for September 1-10.
At least 150 football legends will travel to Kigali for the tournament.
The inaugural VCWC in Rwanda promises an exciting tournament featuring 20 games, with broadcasts reaching over 100 million viewers worldwide.
Notable former players expected in Kigali include Michael Owen, Edmilson, Patrick Mboma, and Rwanda’s own Jimmy Gatete to name a few.
Who is David Trezeguet?
David Trezeguet is a retired French footballer who was born on October 15, 1977, in Rouen, France. He is best known for his successful career as a striker, particularly for his time at Juventus FC in Italy and for his contributions to the French national team.
