As curtains fell on the Transform Africa Summit 2019, there are parts of the summit that went unnoticed, but for the organisers, "all work and no entertainment makes delegates bored”, hence integrating entertainment in the programme.

Apart from the Thursday night performances by Kenyan music star Nameless, Kidum Kibido, Bruce Melodie, and others, there were special performances to open the Smart Africa Women and Girls summit.

Rwanda’s only female saxophonist Stella Tush, teamed up with Mashirika to showcase a performance on an African woman during the special segment on women, which was under the theme: "Women and Girls at the forefront of digital revolution in Africa”.

The performances highlighted some of the entertaining events that were featured in Transform Africa Summit 2019, including the opening ceremony performance by Mashirika titled: "Songs of Africa”. The exhibition before Presidents, who attended the summit that featured Peace Jolis, among other artistes.

The performance was a true celebration of the continent.
