UDL announces Damien Murwanashyaka as new CEO

Damien Murwanashyaka has been appointed as the chief executive officer of UDL, a leading real estate development company renowned for innovative projects such as vision city, The New Times has learnt.

Murwanashyaka succeeds Alice Ntamitondero, who has led the company for the past five years.

Before joining UDL, Murwanashyaka held high ranking positions at a number of organisations. These include; chief quantity surveyor at Real Contractors Ltd and projects manager at ROKO Construction Ltd.

Murwanashyaka is a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University with an MBA and University of Rwanda, where he graduated with a first class honors degree in Civil Engineering.

Damien Murwanashyaka most recently held the positions of Account Manager at Cimerwa PPC, Projects Manager at GASABO 3D DESIGN LTD, and Contracts Manager at Century Engineering Contractors, where he displayed his strong managerial ability and strategic leadership in high-value projects.

Damien Murwanashyaka goes into the new position with more than 13 years of industry expertise.

He is renowned for his proficiency in project and cost management and is one of the leading engineers in the country.

Phase 2 of Vision City is presently being developed by UDL, demonstrating its dedication to creating iconic projects that redefine contemporary living.

Under Murwanashyaka's leadership, UDL is expected to continue its tradition of excellence and innovation in creating modern, sustainable communities.
