Sunday, May 5, saw BK Arena packed to the brim as Chryso Ndasingwa’s Wahozeho Album launch came to life, bringing together thousands of worshippers in a concert believed to be a record-breaking one.
Ndasingwa led the performance lineup as main headliner and was joined on stage by Aimé Uwimana, Rachel Uwineza, Josh Ishimwe as well as music duo Papi Clever and wife Dorcas Ingabire among others.
Clad in all-black, the worshiper kicked off his set with his song 'Wahozeho', named after his album. He then continued with ‘Niwe ' and 'Ndakwihaye ', ‘Byararangiye ’, ‘Ntajya Ananirwa’ and more.
The soloist worshiper while performing a series of his gospel songs, Ndasingwa backed by other singers, caused the whole venue to become a mass choir as he introduced" Ni Nziza, Imana ni nziza" the song that brought a state of worship at the concert.
In a refreshing mood of praise and worship, more surprise appearances kept showing up like when Burundian drummers who interchangeably put up a show with their drums, danced and sang gospel music to the amazement of the crowd.
The first concert of the 29- year-old gospel singer, his energetic and soul-touching performance brought attendees closer to God as they all raised up their hands and voices in a joint worship moment. The atmosphere that the artiste described as "God's grace"
