Wedding chat: The wedding decoration

If there’s anything that catches people’s attention at a reception, it is the way the hall is decorated. The way the wedding hall is decorated can either make the whole occasion seem dull or lively and bright. A well decorated hall will make people feel comfortable and jovial. In fact, a beautifully and creatively decorated hall will encourage people to stay in their seats instead of getting them to escape the dull atmosphere.

The decoration should at least match with the dresses of the maids or the cake. If the decoration matches with either of the two, there’s a way it brings out the beauty of the hall and the occasion.

For the hall to look great, it does matter what colours are used, the beauty of the reception hall depends on how creatively and organised it is set.

One might use bright colours but still decorate the room in a way that is attractive.  However for one to have a tremendous decoration that will last in people’s memories long after the wedding, professional decorators could be recommended.

For economic reasons, if you cannot afford professional decorators, the other alternative is to contact some of the friends who have knowledge and experience in decorating reception halls.

Avoid using people who have no inspiration or notion in decoration. Such people might instead spoil the biggest day of your life. Remember, a wedding is a once in a lifetime affair, in Rwanda at least.
