From the time I was young I have always played dress up with my mother’s dresses .I have what one would call a chronic love for dresses.

I believe dresses are the first commandment for women because anyone, and I mean anyone, has a dress that can make them look fabulous without even putting on make up.

If you are like most women, you probably have one or two features on your body that you love and wouldn’t mind showing off, as well as one or two features that you would like to hide.

The best thing about a well-designed dress is that it can make your good features shine and your less desirable features disappear.

Every woman should own one perfect dress that should work for a wedding, first dates and events where you do not plan to leave the girl in you behind; a dress that has the ability to transform you from ordinary to gorgeously stylish.

To highlight and draw attention to your waist, try a belted dress with a sash or tie at the middle. Any extra detail at your waist will draw eyes towards your tiny middle and away from less flattering features.

Dresses come in different colors and designs; one should choose one that best reflects you. To draw eyes down toward your beautiful to-die–for-legs try a full dress that falls just at the knee.

Backless dress is key to showing off your upper back muscles. A strapless dress will flatter and draw all the attention to your arms. So what do you wear with a dress; First, a shoe with a high heel to lengthen and flatter the appearance of your legs.

For a formal affair, a strappy black sandal or sling back shoe always works best. Shoe colour will always depend on what dress you are wearing. This will call on your matching techniques and classical taste.

Secondly, a dress is completed by a purse. Just make sure the purse is large enough to fit all of your essential items. For jewellery, try adding lots of beads and bracelets.

The truth is we all have been planning for our wedding dresses since we were born but we don’t have to get married to step out in fabulous dresses. Dresses are designed to make you feel like a bride any day…..
