Rayon Sports Women Football Club has secured sponsorship for next season after a stellar season where they won two trophies —the Rwanda Premier League and the Peace Cup.
During an event which took place at the Skol Brewery headquarters on Thursday, May 2, the club presented the trophies to its primary sponsor, Skol Brewery Ltd.
As recognition for their outstanding performance, Skol granted the team a bonus of Rwf11 million for winning the Peace Cup, on top of Rwf 16 million bonus for winning the Premier League.

The presentation ceremony not only highlighted the growing partnership between Rayon Sports women football club and Skol Brewery Ltd but also signaled the company's intention to increase its support for the team in the coming season, reinforcing their shared commitment to the growth of women football in Rwanda.
Eric Gilson, General Manager of Skol Brewery Ltd, pledged to bolster support for Rayon Sports Women's Football Club next season, emphasising the company's dedication to empowering women in sports and encouraging excellence within the Rwandan football community.
"We are deeply grateful to Skol for their unwavering support and recognition of our achievements," said Jean Fidele Uwayezu, President of Rayon Sports. "The continued partnership is instrumental in our pursuit of excellence, both on and off the field. With SBL’s increased support, we are confident in our ability to achieve even greater success, both locally and internationally."
Skol Brewery officials said they remain committed to promoting sports development initiatives across Rwanda and look forward to further collaboration with Rayon Sports Association to pursue shared goals and aspirations.
